FREE flight in a CAP airplane for teachers with Teacher Orientation Program (TOP). Availalble for Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Members (AEM) & CAP squadron member educators at a local airport.
Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Aerospace Connections in Education (ACE) Program
An aerospace/STEM curriculum designed to engage & inspire early-aged youth toward an interest in aviation, space, and other STEM-related careers. Available to CAP educators whom teach K-6 & whom teach 7th and 8th students but register under the 6th grade curriculum.

World’s largest National Youth Cyber Education Program, propelling K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity & other STEM disciplines, including the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition & CyberCamps. No age requirement.
Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) StellarXplorers
Offers a National Space Design Competition & StellarCamps - aims to inspire K-12 students toward futures in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). StellarCamps designed for 6th-12th graders - no prior experience required
Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Teacher of the Year
This honor recognizes STEM educators for their outstanding classroom performance, collaborative initiatives, educational outreach, leadership, and significant impact in the school and community. Run by the local AFA Chapter January - April each year; accpets applications from any grade level; looks for teachers who make coming to class an adventure by teaching or integrating aerospace-related STEM topics/programs.

Presented by Boeing: two full days of sharing insights, ideas, and best practices for starting & building aviation STEM programs by dedicated educators from around the nation. Typically a fall event.
Aircraft Owners and Pilots's Association (AOPA) Foundation Fly, Air Safety, & Flight Training Scholarships
Explore career options in aviation - exposes a diverse group of students to aviation that might otherwise not realize that a career as a pilot or in a drone-related field is completely within reach. Works directly with high schools - fills a gap in aviation youth education: ages 13-18 can get a FREE High School membership, including a digital subscription to Flight Training magazine.
Military Officers Association of America (MOAACC) Veterans Back to Class
Volunteer Veterans bring insights & experience on key matters of civics and history including their story of service and how being a Veteran has impacted their lives. The Veterans Back to Class program works with Brevard Public Schools personnel to ensure the topics meet course curriculum guidelines.

The Society for Military History Academic Excellence & Service Awards & Prizes
For EDUCATORS: The Society for Military History (SMH) in partnership with The George C. Marshall Foundation (GCMF) announce a prize to be awarded annually to an individual, group or institution that creates, designs and implements material for use in teaching military history utilizing evolving digital technology. Quarterly journal of The Society for Military History published scholarly articles on the military history of all eras & geographical areas since 1937; publishes articles, book reviews, a list of recent articles dealing with military history published by other journals, an annual list of doctoral dissertations in military history, & an annual index
